Why Beals5.com?

First and formost, beals.com, beals.net, and beals.org were already taken by others. The first two are by those family registration folk and the last by a real person.

Beals5 comes from me being the fifth kid in my family (out of six). Long, long ago, when I decided on a lark to get customized plates, I wanted to get BEALS5 for my car and BEALS1 for my oldest sister. Alas, someone had BEALS1 taken, so we got 1BEALS and 5BEALS instead.

When it came to home networks and account names, beals5 became a defacto standard for anything that represented our family--which after three children happens to have five people in it. It seems to fit rather nicely.
